Post subject: 1988 F 150 Wont Start, No Fuel
PostPosted: Mon Oct 13, 2008 11:37 pm
My 1988 F 150 was parked and when I tried to start it two days later, I couldnt get it started. I seems that the fuel line was frozen, so I heated it up with heaters and after 5 hours and trying to start it every 15 min, It finally started. I ran is all nite, plowing with no problem, and then I parked it. Next snow It wouldn't start, I did the heat thing again and nothing, I sprayed ether into the intake and it tries to fire, but wont. I check the reset button and its ok, Is it possible for both fuel tank pumps to go out at the same time. Could it be the Fuel Tank Selector Switch.
